I feel like James Cameron expects me to rewatch Avatar 1 and 2 twice a year just to stay current. Then Avatar 3 ended, and I could’ve sworn I’d already seen that ending twice.

I colorized a photo of my uncle’s father using the plane as a color reference. I had no idea these jets were green. The photo was taken after World War II, when the U.S. Army had gathered captured German aircraft, vehicles, and other equipment into collection areas.

I watched He-Man on Prime and really enjoyed it. Skeletor had his trademark humor, the familiar characters were all there, and the villains seemed genuinely dangerous, just terrified of Skeletor.

I don’t remember daycare being this fun, but I love seeing my kid get these experiences.

We built an M&M dispenser from this book using nothing but our random bin of LEGO pieces.

There’s sure a lot of opinions about Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. I was told people don’t read anymore, yet suddenly everyone’s an expert on an ancient Greek epic poem.

The $1 million dollar prize is worth only about 51% of what Richard Hatch’s prize was worth in Season 1. We finished the second to last season and I felt compelled to look up the adjusted for inflation value.

We found a children’s book that speaks to us on a spiritual level.

I sharpened and colorized the only known photo my family has of a relative who fought in the Civil War. He’s in there somewhere. Survived but lost an arm and leg on the same side of his body.

We went bowling, and I bought one of these because Murica.

My son insists on complete privacy after getting his butt wiped.

I’m not too far into it, but it’s already got its hooks in me. What’s surprised me is how much my decisions are a mirror of the show. I can’t bring myself to accuse the wrong crew member of being a spy just because it’s the optimal play. I already know who the spy is!
