Why won’t white house reporters ask questions with flattery as bait, and end with something real? It’s the only way to get anything resembling truth from the podium. Example: “You’ve had a lot of financial success as president. What are your post-presidency plans for such a huge stockpile of cash?”

The average age of a US Senator is 64 and rising. The average age of a US voter is 52 and falling. This is getting to be like your retired dad telling you what you can and can’t do, even though you’re grown, working, and paying a mortgage. Congress is out of touch, and too old to adapt.
