No way Gabi Jesus is leaving with all his Brazilian buddies about to be here. He's going to play out his final season, even if he doesn't get that many minutes - still a big voice in the dressing room - and he'll walk on a free at 30 next summer.

£125M is probably not out of line for Vini. Yes, he only has one year left, but that market effect doesn't really apply when he's also a 1-of-1 player on the market that can take your club to another level. Both clubs have similar jeopardy if the deal is not done.

I don't want to sell MLS. But if we get Bruno, we have 6 guys for 3 midfield spots, plus Merino and Havertz straddling CF/MF and Nwaneri and Dowman straddling RW/AM. The squad is heavy. Were it me, I'd try to move on Zubimendi and Eze while keeping Myles and Ethan. But I don't see it happening.

Vini's production has been very stable: a G+A per every 125' or so in all comps over last 3 seasons. Probably have to discount somewhat for the PL. For perspective, Saka has been a G+A per every 163' in the PL. Vini isn't in the Salah realm of end product, but at very least he's another Saka.
