🪖Norway joins the EU’s defence programme EDIP, designed to strengthen Europe’s defence industry, as 64 new legal acts were incorporated into the EEA Agreement today 🇳🇴🇮🇸🇱🇮 Norway’s participation in the EU’s satellite programme Secure Connectivity was also formally approved.

The Norwegian government will present a bill introducing an age limit on social media, granting teens access the year they turn 16. The proposal aligns with the EU’s Digital Services Act and a broader European push for stronger child protection online 🇳🇴🌐

🇳🇴 has today implemented a new sanctions package against Russia, aligned with 🇪🇺 19th package. It includes measures targeting the energy and finance sectors, preventing circumvention, weakening the military‑industrial complex, and restricting services to the Russian government.
