The Not/Feeling Better anthology is close to my heart as someone whose struggled with chronic illness for years, especially after developing a Chiari malformation about four years back that had me down for the count for a long time. I loved working on these, and look forward to doing more!

The illustration is in a pop art style with the face detailed in various yellow shades and a black background. There is black text above and below the illustration that says "meet the artist - Rue Sparks - they/them - swipe to see their artwork

We thought we'd share the timeline we've set ourselves. We'll launch the Kickstarter soon, and once it's fully funded we'll open for submissions. Autumn will be spent reading them all and choosing the final pieces. And then the Winter will be spent getting ready for publication next Spring!

Introducing: NOT/FEELING BETTER To be honest, we're fed up of people being surprised that we haven't been miraculously cured. No, we're not feeling better. But, on some days, we are. This is life as a person with disabilities. It's exhausting. But it's real and it's important.

our next charity anthology will be called:
NOT/FEELING BETTWE
we can't wait to work on it with you!

This is our final bit of teasing before we share the title/prompt for our next anthology! - The number of dashes indicate the number of letters (7, 6) - The theme is something we're certain our community will care about (all three of us experience/live with it) Post your guesses in the comments! 👀

Pastel rainbow background with black text that says Guess the title of our next project - leave your guesses in the comments. There is a hangman style game, with 3 words. The first word is already filled in as "not". The second word has 7 letters and the 3rd word has 6 letters.

Transphobia is violent. Separating us based on our apparent biology is oppression and I hope you all join me in vocalising support for trans women. I will be a huge problem and that's a promise 🏳️‍⚧️

I tell you because my weak flat skinny hairy body will never fit your woman you should be defending me (didn’t you always claim to defend me?) but I get the feeling you view me as a threat am I a blade? am I a huge problem? what is it about me that terrifies you?

Our trans friends & family need us. We have to step up our game. I've put together a few resources to help you take action, including links to petitions, free images to use on social media, and a call to be loud right now. #TransRightsAreHumanRights www.aspiraldance.com/resources-to...
