Hi, I know I’ve been MIA recently and I’m sorry 👉🏻👈🏻 I just don’t have the energy for much these days. I’m finally getting some professional help and restarting my meds so hopefully it’ll get better. There’s also uni and work restarting so I need a bit of time to settle back into a proper routine 🤍

Another update: I’m back home, the fire is under control… let’s say that there isn’t much left to burn anyway. 90% of the forest has burned (55% of the town surface). The sights are apocalyptic and ugly but nature always finds a way to grow and change. What’s most enraging is that it was criminal…

Only one of my sisters remains there but she’s safe. I hope she’ll evacuate as soon as possible. Hopefully it will get better soon…

The last thing I know the flames were behind my grandparents house. My sisters are probably TERRIFIED too. I AM FUCKING TERRIFIED.

I truly don’t know how people can save money in this economy 🙃 I just had my salary and most of it is already gone (everything is paid though so that’s a good thing) !
Don’t walk your damn dog in the afternoon when it’s fucking 36ºC under scorching sun. It’s summer, if the temp is hot for you, it’s unbearable for your dogs. The ground gets incandescent and the air near the ground is hotter than the one we breathe. It’s like walking barefoot with a fur coat on
After 8 days the fire is finally (and will hopefully stay) under control 🥹 I’m still a bit emotional of how the community came together to overcome this challenge. I am so grateful to the thousands firefighters that came to help (and the army too at some point) ! I am home and safe ❤️
