I’m trying to book an experience with a photographer in Edinburgh so I asked them to send me pictures they’ve taken of black people & interracial couples & they sent me back a bunch of photos of white people & told me to trust them 😐

Finally finished the Arc of the Scythe trilogy & while I was disappointed with the third book I loved the series overall! Definitely a must read for folks who love sci-fi dystopian stories and/or anyone who finds themselves frighten & fascinated by AI.
I know it might be hard but it’s important to pay attention to what is happening. Don’t look away or retreat into yourself. Invest in your community.Think about what you can do & who you can love & support in your community & go do it.And commit to doing it forever, not just for the next four years

Rereading Scythe with a greater awareness of AI is wild because when I read it in 2017 I was like “Wow, this is never going to happen” & now I’m like, “Wow, this is happening right now.” 😭
Made progress with my lil readathon but made more progress doing a ton of stuff I’ve put off doing for months because the best way to get me to do something I’ve been putting off doing is to give me something else to put off doing.
