I'm looking into datasets of building footprints with heights, at least city-scale. Most of them claim to have height, but actually have only elevation. I've got a few (for France, Japan and Netherlands) but I'd love to get a more diverse coverage. Any ideas?
I'm burnt out of discussing "AI". I don't care for the press releases from big companies. I hate having to comment immediately. I dislike "hot takes". I'm worried we, as scientists, are losing touch with scientific values. We've become customers, salivating at ads marketed to investors. 1/15

C'est symptomatique de l'impasse dans laquelle on s'enferme avec les LLM pour la recherche d'information. La carte existe déjà, il y a même une source d'autorité (l'IGN) qui l'a produite. Le LLM non seulement n'est pas capable d'identifier cette information, mais en plus en falsifie une nouvelle.

You can train your image-to-image flow matching model on badly aligned data, you just have to tell it how bad it is. 🫣 Great work from @lebellig.bsky.social and Aimi Okabayashi with cool applications to remote sensing. It's FlowEO 2.0!
