The visual design came from the team in Billund. I'm unaware of any contest. Certainly, no contest created Zilvar's name or backstory. I remember endless back-and-forths over the character's name back in late 2024 or early 25.

Many of us fans don’t believe it since we’ve never heard of a fan design contest before.
The name “Omega” pretty much implies the existence of an Alpha. “Alpha and Omega” means first and last. There’s a Firstbourne dragon, thinking logically, doesn’t that also mean…?
All people are important! But to answer your bigger question, the identity of that person isn’t important to the larger Dragons Rising story.

In middle school I went to Duke's Young Writers Camp. There was a kid there from NYC who said his brother was a rapper named DJ Seafoam Green. He'd rap: "Seafoam is fine, yeah, Seafoam is fine". He never shut up. It drove us all crazy. But I thought, that's a good character name. I'll remember that.

Yes, RELATED. Don't take that to mean that Soul energy COMES from Source Energy or is a form of Source Energy. Just that they are related in the sense that there is a relationship and interplay between those forms of energy. More on energy and its forms to come.

I didn't work on those seasons but I'm almost 100% positive that was just a production/budget issue. It is NOT canon that all Oni share the same face (unlike for example, how it IS canon that all of Lee's bodies have the same face). There are different Oni faces.
