Friday fieldwork A sunny start to the week at Moor House for maintaining two of our @ukceh.bsky.social Peat Cameras. It's my first visit in the 10 years I've been at UKCEH; and well worth the wait! There's something special about seeing first hand a site I've heard fondly mentioned by my colleagues

Friday fieldwork from last week for @ukceh.bsky.social Whilst dodging the grim weather sample collecting, there were some nice breaks in the weather for some amazing scenery! Following on from Sand Dune sampling in January, it was onto moorland sampling this week

Fieldwork Friday! Another positive few days in the field working on some of our Flux Towers out on the salt marsh for @ukceh.bsky.social Definitely a change in habitat from peat bogs to salt marsh! One of the big positives of the job that I get to see all these fantastic habitats

Outside work I'm out and about for archery and open water swimming! Currently in a year of sporting events (Sept 2024 - Sept 2025), including representing Cumbria at Archery GB's National County Team Champs (Sept 2024); Kings of Archery in Eindhoven (Nov 2024); and Chillswim Coniston (June 2025)
