I just saw a senior academic post the sentence "Endless new languages are being created by agentic llms" and I just about had an aneurysm.

There's this weird bit of a medieval Greek poem by Tzetzes where he gives an epilogue on greeting people in their own languages. A later manuscript is fully glossed (a secondary addition) and contains a bizarre obscene extra phrase for the Alanic text.
