I started getting followed by some "film festivals" and "writing festivals" and thought "oh, these are cool!" Then I looked a little closer. They're all part of a network that preys on writers, charging us for reviews, and feeding our stuff into slop generators. So I made a list.👋🏻🖕🏻😠

Probably “seemed,” mostly because I’m trying to convey that a character is observing something that the narrative cannot confirm as fact, or that the character themself is unsure of, but uh… lots of seeming “As if” and “as though” make an attempt at variety It’s a wonder anyone knows anything! 😂
