I'm blown away by the photos made by Rubin Observatory. Instantly remembered that chilling quote from a Black Mountain Side.
“When an animal looks up into the night sky what does it see? Thousands and thousands of tiny points. Then a man looks up at the same points and see millions of stars, galaxies, within which are millions of planets. Do you want to know what I see?” Black Mountain Side (2014)

Finished A Quiet Place: the road ahead You know, the game is really creative and cool. I never expect something good from a game based on a movie, but here devs cooked! A new mechanic every chapter, sometimes every level. The game is scary and rarely release the tension. Play with mic on. #horror
Feel more confident in Godot already, but there’s still many things to get familiar with. Anyway, I already can say that it’s much more suitable for the retro games that I wanna make.
Watched Obsession What an incredible horror with some really unpredictable and scary moments. Also actors are top notch, especially Inde Navarrette playing Nikki in such an uncanny ways that it gives chills down your spine. #obsession #horror
The orchestrator is super intuitive and PS1 looks are easily achievable. I like it even more than in Unreal, much less stuff to turn off. I stick to Godot, it’s official. Diving into practice and learning. #godot
Well, recent UE news making me thinking more about switching to Godot. I really love visual programming so will check the Orchestrator and if I can replicate PS1 look in Godot. If both =true then switch, else cry.
Using Orchestrator and really love it! But have a question if there's anyone using it. How do you check if Node is an Orchestrator class name In my case there's an orchestration with class Skeleton, but if I'll check for class directly it will return Node 3D of course. #godot #orchestrator
If someone uses AI to make picture, I believe this person don’t enjoy drawing. Uses for game dev - not enjoying game dev. Same for music, code, 3D etc. I really think that the best stuff we get from people who have fun creating it, who love the process, however slow or hard it may be sometimes.
Reading about Godot drama with AI, I think more and more about just stick to one version without updating. But I think Godot maintainers are superhuman. Checking thousands of PRs in the era of slop, when you don’t want vibe coded shit in your project must be frustrating as hell for them.
Godot is awesome, I found my new home. I like how intuitive the engine is, yet I see how I can make some complex stuff with it. Some rotation/translation beginner stuff with cubes, it's always fun to start from scratch when the software is responsive and intuitive. #godot
Finished Eternal Castle It's an interesting experience, there were a few frustrating moments where I felt like I need random to bless me, but these were too rare to ruin the experience. Style is awesome, so as animations, really liked how weapons feel and overall gameplay.
Wait, Godot is like 160mb? Am I downloaded the right thing, lol It’s so cool

It's really THE best game dev documentary ever made. I rewatched it a few times and definitely will watch it again after some time. #DoubleFine I hope you'll survive.
A friendly reminder that Double Fine's Psychodyssey is one of the finest pieces of media ever created, and a must-watch for anyone who cares about video games, yet somehow it's also completely free www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...
I hope that Ninja Theory and Double Fine will survive, cause I feel deep connection to both of them by different reasons. Hope for the best. Other studios that are in the same spot now, I hope you’ll make it too, it’s always hard when high level decision comes and you can’t do anything about it.
Just finished Who's At The Door It was scary and fun :D There are so many anomalies that I met duplicate only once (!) in the whole game (which is 24 days if you play perfectly, that I didn't :D) At first it's hard to understand what counts as anomaly, but the answer is EVERYTHING except the room.
OMG it works so good! I'll research the hell out of my favourite games :D
Playing Silver Pines demo and I love it! So much love to the survival horror genre in one game! Level design is great, mechanics are polished, story is intriguing. Special thanks for the payphone save system straight from Parasite Eve, BUT improved and more immersive. #silverpines
METAXIA has a steam page now + a trailer wishlists and reposts are highly appreciated! #metaxiagame
A few years ago I tried Obsidian and the only thing it lacked for me were data bases. Guess what, there are databases now! Switched completely from Notion. Local DB, no AI, so clean and fast, I’m happy with my info storage now. GDD and task tracking for my project are now also obsidianized :D
Playing Phasmophobia’s Alan Wake event. I can definitely say that it’s the largest and the coolest event ever! I’m playing the game since its release in steam in 2020, so I know what I’m saying :D
Finally started playing ROUTINE. And it’s definitely a love from the first sight.
I'm sorry, WHAT?! I had to double check that it's not an April 1st, and it isn't! IT IS REAL, I CAN'T WAIT! www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QT5... #alanwake #phasmophobia

Stumble upon 20 games challenge. The goal is to make small-ish games, that are already exist, for practice and to learn something new. I think it’s something I need now, because I lack time to work on the main project and start to feel a little stressed because I miss the feeling of finishing a game
Great news!
