Ive seen multiple posts online saying that "there are no game devs doing games without AI today" which is complete bullshit Raise yor hand if you don’t use any form of LLM and actively avoid it ✋
What if I told you that all of the Publishing Agreements I have reviewed in the last 6 months (several dozen) included a no gen AI provision, wherein the use of gen AI in development is a material breach, but companies like Epic and EA are still trying to convince us the industry is cool with it

What if instead of trying to forcibly invent the next big technical revolution... what if we paid devs and funded projects? The budget for this stuff could create so much THRIVING art. Imagine: more games! more weird games! more games that take risks! games that dont need to monetize aggressively!
Hear me out... Univerally praised games are neat enough, but nothing hits quite like something unpopular that speaks to *you*. So show-and-tell: Link and Explain a game that's UNDERRATED (sub-500 user reviews), UNDERRATED (sub 80% score) or BOTH (ideally!) that is near and dear to your heart.
ENCHAIN has already been out for almost 2 weeks! early access launch has been great. feedback has been super positive and thoughtful, from what I peeked at so far. thank you for the support! been on a break, excited to jump back in. I will start making the first update (QoL+polish) next week.
