It’s funny af how if you talk to one party member or rep of the CPC about the US you will quickly realize that they like the US more than most US citizens

I am happy that there is a ceasefire in the onslaught on Palestine, but Israel has backed off around the inauguration of a president, like Obama, and then started again. real change has to be made, and I know the USA and UK aren't going to back meaningful change from a government level.

The only reason people think we have “freedom of press” in the United States is because a majority of the “free press” falls in line with the state(careerists) or at least doesn’t stray too far. The second someone goes too far they send their dogs to squash it.

I’ve heard people mostly talking about the censorship issues and foreign policy implications of the TikTok ban, which is true, and discussion around these aspects is important.

I’ve decided I’m gonna take learning mandarin this year seriously, hopefully will be good enough to hold conversation by the end of the year. Though it’s a steep goal, I’m excited to see where I end up.
