Odd Future Wolfgang Pauli

It's a huge insult to snake oil salesmen to refer to Sam Altman as a snake oil salesmen. They actually have to develop charm and social skills to be good at their jobs, he just gets on twitter and is like "look, I can't even talk to my own kids much less you vermin."

I don't want a "Smart Fridge" that orders milk for me. I want a fridge that lasts 25 years and doesn't have a privacy policy that allows it to share my late-night snacking habits with my health insurance provider.

Twitter discourse: Christopher Nolan is a race traitor who has tarnished ancient Greece with black people. We must harness AI to ensure purity. Bluesky discourse: the scholar behind the acclaimed 2017 translation of The Odyssey has some thoughts, and folks, talk about iambic pentaMURDER!

Statistically Christopher Nolan is the exact right age for a prominent artist who lost their mind, or at least became very annoying, on social media. Instead he just doesn't opt in. That's awesome. I know nothing about what he believes outside of like, film stock, and that's the ideal.

It's obviously not the worst in terms of his personal behavior but when it became clear that he was not actually a working class guy and came from substantial family money, i.e. his whole political identity was made up, it shouldn't have surprised anyone that more horrific lies were on the way

He lied about every single thing. Everyday. He ran knowing full well who he is while presenting himself as someone else (poorly). He wasted everyone’s time & money & shattered people’s credibility. He used the political process as a vanity project to the detriment of the folks he wanted to represent

Maine has unusually specific election laws regarding who can replace a candidate this late in the cycle. It must be either Stephen King or the girl who played the backup goalie who made the winning save against the Iceland team in D2: The Mighty Ducks.

Rs have been trying to make Mamdani the face of the party for like a year now. All that's happened is he's balanced the budget, made city life seem enjoyable, helped more progressive dems win, and charmed our senile president whenever they've gotten within 100 meters of each other

KARL: Rs are gonna make you the poster child for the D Party MAMDANI: Let them. We don't have to ask ourselves what life looks like if a socialist wins. I won last year & over the course of the last 6 months what we've delivered for working people are the very things we were told were impossible.

Maybe the reason DSA and associated groups are having so much luck with low-info voters is because they actually seem happy and eager to govern, and their opponents in both the center and the right act and sound like the most miserable people on earth
