Fortunately, there is still time to improve this proposal. Recognizing the unfolding hunger crisis and the need delay the cost shift for all states is an important first step, but the urgency of this crisis demands a stronger response. Kids in this country deserve better.

@evanurquhart.bsky.social I agree some people are blind - but I also see many who recognize where we are and are fighting back with all the tools - organizing (community & political), mutual aid, litigation, advocacy, etc. Even in a terrible time, fighting side by side with them gives me hope.
