A data center was just shut down in Wisconsin after the town council refused to have private talks with the developer and told them everything would include public approval That’s how it’s done, folks
I first started collecting referee data way back in 2009. I needed something to focus my energy on in what was a time of terrible grief. Now, for the first time, we've finally got a website going where all this work I've done can be seen by all. Introducting mlsrefstats.org

Anybody got a smok forcasting site they like? The one I used to use seems defunct now.
He grows anxious when he has an unexpressed thought… That’s the coldest burn goddamn.
Sen. John Kennedy on Trump's blatant reflecting pool lies: "The president says it was caused by vandals. I don't know if he really believes that or it's part of his political messaging or he's just thinking out loud ... he grows anxious when he has an unexpressed thought."
Crazy we managed to drive this guy out of town. What a baller. So what if he’s languid.
By scoring the game-winning goal and adding three assists tonight, FC Cincinnati's Evander became just the fourth player in MLS history to record at least 10 goals and 10 assists in three consecutive seasons. He joins Luciano Acosta (2022-24), Hany Mukhtar (2021-23), and Preki (1996-98).
This will be fine I’m sure
New from 404 Media: Google Earth has introduced an AI feature that lets anyone fabricate completely bullshit satellite images. In our own tests, we added a “bomb blast and crater” to an area of Los Angeles. This is a misinformation time bomb, will 100% be abused www.404media.co/google-earth...

There will be a work party at the Gorge Discovery Center on Sunday, 8/2 to remove invasive weeds in their wildflower plot. From 10 am - 1 pm. Please RSVP. Barbara Robinson has maintained the plot for years, but recent fires have allowed invasives to get established.
The target area is only two meters wide. It's a small thermal exhaust port, right below the main port. The shaft leads directly to the reactor system.

It’s clearer now than ever before that Infantino either needs to be removed as FIFA president or football needs a new governing body. The World Cup isn’t Infantino’s to sell. The future of the sport is now very much at risk and it’s on the federations to speak up.

Finally listened to the @scuffed.bsky.social WC postmortem ep. Sanjay put it so well at the end, to paraphrase: Scuffed has come full circle, the kids are grown now and there are new kids coming though. Soccer doesn’t stop.
Dude on that skateboard listening to Fleetwood Mac really had us thinking shit was getting better
Such a great read. Especially the end about Mora.
My recap of yesterday's win. #RCTID
“Look at that smile. That's a man who knows how much he gets to gloat at the expense of his friend.” Greater stuff as always from J. Peterman.
Felipe Mora got a legendary goodbye. He also got another unexpected gift: bragging rights over one of his greatest friends. #RCTID
