If you received tests from the now closed federal HHS program that provided bulk orders of free rapid COVID tests, these Osom tests may look familiar. They may have expiration dates of 5/31/25, 6/30/25 and 7/31/25. BUT, the testing components inside the box do not expire until later in the year!

On a purple background, an image of an Osom COVID antigen home test has the following text above it: “If you received Osom rapid COVID tests through the now defunct HHS program, even if the expiration date has passed, take a look at the testing components and check their expiration dates. Your tests may still be current!”Image of the expiration date on the back of the Osom rapid COVID test of 5/31/25, the expiration date of the buffer liquid of 10/31/25 and the expiration date of the pouched testing device of 5/31/25. Hi all, H5N1 is starting to spread globally, it will reach every part of the world. With spring migration about to begin, the virus will spread even faster through the air and infected animals. The risk to wildlife, livestock, and humans is growing.

A new study shows that #birdflu has silently spread from animals to some veterinarians. In three studies, several of the infected workers remembered having symptoms of #H5N1 bird flu, while none of the veterinarians in the new paper recalled any such symptoms.
