This is such complete and utter bullshit on the part of Thom Tillis and John Cornyn. Giving the Trump crime family immunity from tax audits remains as corrupt as anything we’ve ever seen in this country. Todd Blanche should be impeached, not confirmed.

JUST IN: Tillis confirms he is on board with Cornyn to vote yes on Blanche for AG, after Blanche renounces Anti-Weaponization Fund in writing & asserts that the waiver of any past taxes due is limited to POTUS, Don Jr., Eric & Trump Org. Earlier: www.politico.com/news/2026/08...

We disgrace ourselves as a nation each and every day Donald Trump remains in office. The drafters of the United States Constitution provided a remedy for a criminally insane president like the one we have—impeachment and removal ...

I’m wasting lot of time on a dumb phone game lately — I keep saying I’ll quit when the harassment buy upgrades gets bad but it hasn’t yet — but I’m enjoying being less in social media. Trading one phone addiction for another.

It’s been so long since Dawn mentioned me on her blog. Good for her! She seems to be having a good time lately for a change. Sadly still has some weird alternate version of [otter] she’s still mad at. Weird.

Banksy. Learned a lot about him and his art today. His 2015 Dismaland was brilliant. I’m sorry I missed it. I love how he’s using his money. Subversive, cynical, and smart, with a heart.

Things I did today instead of doomscrolling (part 1 of 2) 1. Took son to doctor, dealt with subsequent meltdown 2. Did two hours tax continuing ed 3. Figured out dates & hotels for two autumn trips 4. Labeled bags inside board for ease of clean up

Between me and my husband, this autumn, we will be in Atlanta, Denver, NYC, NOLA, Atlanta again, Raleigh, Los Angeles, and Daytona Beach. Whew. Hitting a lot of major US cities. Is it a last hurrah for America? I guess we want to see more of it before it is.

After being transferred three times and ending up with who knows what department at my health insurance company, I was then given wrong info that lead to a half hour of aggravation that roped in my husband. *sigh*
