happy #webcomicday! @ohnoshiv.bsky.social and I make Seekers of Infinity, our nautical sci-fi adventure about a treasure hunter on a mission from... God? Ancient aliens? Idk. But that doesn't stop her from dragging her ragtag crew into all sorts of danger. Read it at soicomic.com!

Emma Tascheter, treasure hunter and space adventurer, floats in a starry void. There are six planets surrounding her: one white and icy with a pink aura; one green and watery with a yellow aura; a pink-and-yellow one with a blue aura; a black-and-purple one with an orange aura and a yellow ring surrounding it; a black-and-red, burned planet with a red aura; and a planet broken into three halves with a green aura.

Tasch is a young woman with orange skin, light brown hair, and bright green eyes. She wears a Victorian-inspired outfit with a red vest, long white sleeves, and brown pants and boots.

Oh, and there's a strange glowing artifact attached to her right arm. It looks like a brown bracelet with a glowing green compass in the middle. What's up with that.

Comic panels. Captain Kruger, a space pirate, mogs for attention in his cell, only to be ignored by his jailers.
Panel One
KRUGER: I be the scourge o' the spaceways hisself! The viceroy a' vandals! Winsome devil o' the Stygian Brotherhood! I am... Captain Kruger!!
Panel Two
Beat. He's addressing an audience of one. Tasch stares at him.
Panel Three
TASCH: Wait, who?
Panel Four
KRUGER: C-Captain Kruger! Here, I got me wanted poster right-
Panel Five
Kruger looks down. His metal leg is gone.
Panel six
Kruger flops.
KRUGER: Yargh!!
Panel Seven
Kruger sees his leg up on the wall by a reception desk.
KRUGER: Me leg!!
Panel Eight
Kruger hollers for his leg but nobody cares.
KRUGER: Gimme back me leg!
UNDERPAID NAVY RECEPTIONIST: No.

Comic panels. Tasch inquires about her mysterious package to a bunch of goths, but they're not nice. Fuckin goths. Tasch and Roland, her crewmate, skulk off. Roland is leery of the goths because he doesn't get out much.
Panel One
TASCH: So... How do you know HELLRAIZA?
Panel Two
The goths all trade stories. They're a bunch of cute androgynous aliens.
SONYA: Well, we don't actually KNOW her.
ORCHID: We're just fans of her work and she needed a favor.
TASCH: Her "work?"
Panel Three
News reports of various hacker attacks on some very sympathetic business and media figures. Justice for Turst Dripper.
NARRATION: HELLRAIZA's a legend in the hacker scene. She's even been on the news.
Panel Four
Tasch's phone buzzes in her butt pocket. Vmmm vmmm.
ORCHID: That her?
Panel Five
TASCH: Yeah, she's giving me another CHORE.
Panel Six
Tasch and Roland exit ruefully.
ORCHID: Sick. Good luck with that.
TASCH: Thanks.

Captain Brenna Martyn of the Commonwealth Galactic Navy- the space government- lays hands on a bunch of space pirates. They get their shit rocked. Man, they didn't even stand a chance.
Panel One
The space pirates lurch along.
NARRATION: Meanwhile...
PIRATE ONE: Is that alarm gonna be a problem?
PIRATE TWO: Nah, this place is a ghost town.
Panel Two
They chitchat.
PIRATE THREE: Pretty sure there's only three guys working this whole station.
BRENNA (off-panel) HEY ASSHOLES!
Panel Three
Brenna approaches them. She clinks her gloves together. CHCHK.
Panel Four
Her gloves start to transform...
BRENNA: I was supposed to be out of here...
Panel Five
...Into battle gauntlets. Oh, shit.
BRENNA: AN HOUR AGO!
Panel Six
Brenna beats them up. Well, most of them. One of them just gets a power noogie.

New PICABO play-along for season 18 of drag race. heres the “favorite body part” runway!

My Alien RPG character PICABO. She is a weyland yutani synthetic with pale skin, pink eyes, and white hair. The drag race runway theme for episode 2 was “favorite body part” so PICABO is in a chef inspired outfit holding her decapitated head on a platter.

Happy new year to all the artists who haven't had time, energy, passion, or any other needed resource to draw enough personal stuff to join end-of-the-year memes in 2025. May we find more of all of the above in 2026, as well as compassion for ourselves if we don't!

Artists feel pressured to make new art too quickly at the moment. Normalise artists fucking disappearing for months. Just walk off into the woods for a year and come back with a single sketch. It’s good for you
