Instead of using an LLM I asked a question on a forum and someone was nice enough to get a measuring tape out and give me a real answer and I thought that was very nice.

People using AI summaries gratuitously at work now means I need to read 3 or 4 different AI summaries about the same thing and figure out which of the hallucinations in each weren't present in the original conversation.

I made a $100 contribution today to mermaidsuk.org.uk in light of Amnesty's violently upsetting pandering to anti-trans hatred. I made sure to let Amnesty know my thoughts about it too. If you're in the financial position to help an organization like this, I'm sure they'd really appreciate it.
