Basically, recessions are caused by "everyone trying to save money at the same time". This is a problem because at an aggregate level, everyone's income is the same as everyone's spending.

This is what I mean when quote post stuff w/ “belief: still today’s issue.” The vast majority of true things you are going to know about reality you are going to know by believing the testimony of someone else. Consequently, “critical thinking” almost always means “evaluating credibility.”

I don't have La Civiltà Cattolica access so I can't read the whole argument, but from the Commonweal piece it seems that "Christologically correct" means that Jesus is fully human. True, but the character of Jesus' humanity in "The Last Temptation of Christ" is precisely the issue with the film.

Cheering on my 6yo at her swim meet, which is my first swim meet since I was 18. Iirc, that meet was the only meet I got a first in, because they put me on the relay with our three state ranked swimmers, and there was only one other relay team.
