[1972 - 1974] The Adventures of Black Beauty - Opening and closing theme to the series which was a "continuation" of the 1877 book by Anna Sewell. The theme tune, "Galloping Home", was written by Denis King and performed by the London String Chorale.
[1960 -1986] Out of Town - Intro to the series about the countryside, rural life and traditions. Presented by Jack Hargreaves.
[1980] Doctor Who Theme as arranged by its composer Ron Grainer - Although Grainer wrote the Doctor Who theme tune, all versions that appeared on TV were arranged by other people. This is the first arrangement by him, and much closer to his musical style. www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1SZ...

[1968] Top of the Pops – The Move perform "Fire Brigade". According to Wood, he wrote the song in a single overnight session after manager Tony Secunda told the band that he had a studio session lined up for the next morning and that they needed to record a single.
[1966] Superthunderstingcar - A sketch named Superthunderstingcar (a parody of Thunderbirds and other Sylvia and Gerry Anderson puppet shows) from British sitcom "Not only... but also" starring Dudley Moore and Peter Cook.

[1963] Doctor Who - Unused footage of the first opening titles of Doctor Who, by testing the 'howlround effect' of pointing a camera at a monitor displaying its own output. The idea of having a human figure in the titles was scrapped, as it was deemed too frightening.

[1984 - 1986] Robin of Sherwood - Intro to the series based on the legend of Robin Hood. The theme is "Robin (The Hooded Man)", the first single released by Irish group Clannad in April from their 1984 album Legend.

[1968] Joe 90 - Intro to the science fiction television series created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson. The theme and incidental music were composed by Barry Gray.
[1970] Ending It All - Public information film in which Michael Palin warns us (in a Pythonesque Alan Whicker spoof tone) on the dangers of driving too close to the car in front in the rain.
[1973 - 1995] Why Don't You? - "Why don’t you just switch off your television set and go out and do something less boring instead?" The show was originally broadcast in the morning during the school summer holidays. Russell T Davies was at one time a producer and director for Why Don't You...?

[1977] TV Licence Public Information Film - "There's a TV set on at number 5. It's in the front room. And they're watching Columbo".
[1979 - 1981] The Book Tower - Intro to the children's series presented by Tom Baker. Each episode explored one or more books, using dramatic presentations, with the aim of getting children interested in reading. The theme tune was taken from Andrew Lloyd Webber's 1978 album Variations.
