Young, Rees-Mogg and their organisations need to be treated as agents of a foreign government and cut off from contact with any elected official, MP, peer, political party, civil servant, and the media. I'm all for free speech. I object to being subjected to foreign gov't funded propaganda.

Something for Clacton min wage grafters need to think about when the grifter asks for their support - it'll take them 192 years to earn anti-establishment Farage's "gift" - before tax! £5,000,000÷(£12.51 per hour ×40 hrs per week ×52 weeks per year)= 192.15 years.

Payment from Fujitsu shouldn't be a gesture of goodwill. The government need to bill Fujitsu for all redress to all people affected by a faulty product that Fujitsu staff lied under oath to defend. Why do taxpayers need to pay for corporate malfeasance?

MPs urge Fujitsu to make ‘immediate’ payment to Post Office Horizon victims

Liam Byrne, who chairs Commons business committee, says too many operators are still waiting for redress

If I had any lingering doubts on Lords reform Lord Dominic Johnson has just cured me. A JR Mogg croney, happy to make everyone unemployed if it makes him a bob or two. I hope his accountant, lawyer and doctor tell him to get AI to file his accounts, do legal advice and operate on him.

Clipping from Private Eye:

"In the House of Lords debate on the impact of artificial intelligence on human relationships and society, a positively gleeful note was sounded by Lord (Dominic) Johnson of Lainston, who described the forthcoming evisceration of white-collar employment market as "a fabulous thing. Who wants to be an accountant, a lawyer, a consultant, a civil servant or even a doctor?"

What might motivate the peer to make this stance? As he noted: "I am invested in AI companies and I hope to get in the board of an AI company." With a "come and get me" plea like this, the cheque must be in the post!

This is simply not good enough. IIT is time X and others were brought to heel. All MPs and public bodies should stop using and promoting a site owned by anyone looking to undermine the UK and being used to invite unlawful behaviour. @chazelgrovemp.bsky.social

Fuck off @jd-vance-1.bsky.social. Stick to creating havoc in your country, it's all you are good for. We don't need or want you or your opinions. You aren't fit to even tie the shoe laces of any member of the UK government. We have some rubes, but none as craven and useless as you.

FFS...80s is the new 60s if you can choose when you work at well paid jobs swanning about TV studios. Not if you are an 80 year old brickie or warehouse worker or in any job that requires you to turn up every day for low wages.

As long as you feel able to work and have wisdom to offer, you should continue to do so. Although some outstay their welcome, even on the world stage, says Guardian columnist Simon Jenkins

That's how to show the true Christian spirit of Christmas, bullying primary school staff and pupils into shutting down their Christmas show. They are scum of the earth! I hope they are proud of themselves, spoiling the end of the year for these children and denying them their show.

This is why we need the equivalent of Ireland's Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) with the power to seize personal assets derived from criminal acts (subject to a court order, on the balance of probability and even if they have been gifted away). Fraudulently marking goods as CE is a criminal act.
