The Chancellor has the power to stop Farage's cynical ploy. I've written to her this morning urging her to act. Farage should not be allowed to resign until the investigation into his dodgy dealings has concluded. The people of Clacton deserve the facts first.

Maybe it’s just me, but If you choose to resign a seat as an MP, you shouldn’t get to stand in the resulting by-election. Enough of this performative bollox in order to avoid proper parliamentary scrutiny. Farage’s base don’t give a toss whether he’s done wrong or not.
So the BBC et al allow Farage a totally unchallenged platform. Totally unacceptable.

Nigel Farage didn't comment on this, not once. He didn't even comment on it when one of his Councillors was fired by Reform for celebrating this attack. Not a single word because the offender was the WHITE type of offender.
