I loved the Smiths, and Johnny Marr seems like a truly great guy, but I’ve bought everything he’s done by himself, and with others, and I find his solo stuff, sadly, really bland. He’s like the Indie version of Lewis Capaldi, great human being, bland as fuck music. To me anyway.
