I miss when computers made noises. A video popped up of some dinosaur tower making little clicks and buzzes as a fan whirred in the background. Then the hard drive would spool up when it was "thinking" Efficiency took away the novelty.

I’ve got lots of gear that I keep in the boot of the car as standard. This power pack must be the most lifesaving. Only ever used it myself a couple of times but the amount of use it gets saving other people has made it pay for itself multiple times over. Cars, vans, pickups, Manitous. ⚡️

I have a Genesis G70 as a rental. Aside from the front left wheel bearing needing replaced, it still feels very much like a Hyundai. I miss how good the Infiniti G35/G37 sedans were.

Meant to do battle with the Jeep Gladiator, a pickup variant of the Bronco should arrive in a few years, but a hybrid Bronco may get here even quicker.

Some company tore up everyone’s lawn in my neighborhood to install fiber optic cable. I helped myself to the mounds of dirt and clumps of grass in the dead of night to fill in some low lying areas in my yard 😙

As a car person, I can confirm car people have no idea what kind of car people should own lmao.

Why were PRS guitars so popular in the 2010s? Everyone I knew who played, no matter what style of music, had one and raved about it. They felt like any other guitar in the price range to me. Someone explain the fretboard birds and maple flame top to me.

I grew up in a weird era where tapes were still on their way out, but by the time I reached my preteen years, internet piracy was the way of the world. I don’t remember ever buying a CD lol.

People don’t talk enough about the death of the family camcorder. Home movies and physical photo albums were such an event. Smartphones made it all so mundane. Here’s my Dad’s Handycam from (I think) 2004. It replaced our massive VHS camera from the early 90s.
