i'm at the stage of development where i'm mainly focused on polishing visual and audio effects. this a fun thing to experiment with. my hope is that people will play the game and undo/redo casting the spells just to have fun messing with things

this is disappointing to me... ive seen a lot of this in the past few months, and i feel like some games have felt obviously poisoned by ai in their design process, even if the developers claim to not use it. checkmage and all my future projects will remain AI-free and i hope that matters to people

was looking through nextfest demos the other day and so many are just slopped to hell either completely or for really stupid little shit the dev got lazy on, like, capsule images on the store page i was like 'there's 3 decades of games i could be emulating and not deal with this shit at all'
