Some mental processing on spatial/life limitations. The raw materials Borges saw. Given our current international unrest, I’m more and more fascinated by what happens somewhere else

Had a fantastic time at Annecy last week, was great to meet up with old and new friends. Inspired me to do a little comfort zone painting based on a castle we saw while cycling around the lake🌞

A triptych of paintings dedicated to adventure, exploration and discovery (my favorite verbs). I always imagined if I made a game from this all it would be from this perspective.

A lone adventure rests on a stone bench by an overgrown pool, bathed in sunlight surrounded by the ruins of an ancient civilization. Our adventure has delved to the center of the ruins and discovered the treasure that lies within. A golden chest surrounded by mysterious statues. What did they endure to get here, and will the reward be worth it?A moments hesitation as our adventurer, torch in hand, approaches the entrance to the dungeon. Darkness lies within, watchful statues nearby, the opening like a monsters cavernous mouth.
