she/her; sometimes i draw #🖍️ fantastic four fan, spider-man and batman are ok i guess

The worst thing about North and Co’s Fantastic Four run is the knowledge that once it is finished we will probably never again get someone who writes these characters with the love and passion that North does Treating every character in this family with the importance they deserve 💙

A page where Alicia Masters, turned into a noir detective, picks up a cosmic cube and wills what world back to the way it was. The page starts in black and white but the cube is blue, and as Alicia holds it the page starts radiating back into vibrant color. From Fantastic Four #19, by Ryan North, Art by Carlos Gomez and Jesus Aburtov. Letters by Joe Caramanga

Captions, Alicia Masters internal monologue: “I think of Ben and our kids, the way they sound when they say they love me.
My life. The life I wanted, the life I fought so hard for--all for just a taste of it.

And I know as I hear a fresh magazine click into place that I don't want Pete to get away with this.

Us private dicks--we don't get happy endings. We don't get to win. Not in the long term.

Best we can hope for is to not lose too bad in the end.

And this…this doesn’t feel like too bad a loss.”
