she had to hide and be stealth, it’s never mentioned the character is trans but there’s something truly magic in knowing that the next time i rewatch TNG, i will see her there and i will know that someone like me helped make the show that ignited my lifelong love of Star Trek 😭

FIRSTLY as the piece alludes: Loren Rex Cameron’s also-trans and arguably more famous older sister, Cameron, was a I believe fully stealth working model and actress (a la plot of Pose) in the 80s and 90s mostly … I rewatched like I dunno, dozens of TNG episodes, where she appeared as Ensign Kellogg:

Just drove past a house with tons of Christmas lights up. Folks, I regret to inform you that Halloween is no longer holding the bulkhead against the holiday season. Early October had been breached; late September is sure to fall next. By this time next year we may be witnessing a Christmas in July

They changed the Firefox layout and (trying to sound relatable, panicking a little) I feel like that episode of Star Trek where Worf tumbles through parallel universes until he doesn't recognize the bridge controls and his failure to raise shields lets Bajoran separatists damage the Enterprise

in my talk today, as an example of the strange things you can do in comics given their sequential but also spatial/simultaneous nature, I included this gonzo panel from 1950s Batman, which I just love in all its weirdness! Yes, I have more intentionally clever examples, but something about this...
