This might be a bit of a hot take (and very much isn’t targeted at anyone to be super clear, just my general experiences over the last 8 months seeing people talk about my game) but I don’t think Girl Frame is niche or has a small audience, speaking as the person who has the sales numbers
once a year I remember I like to write games. REVOLUTION 177X is a super-super-early prototype about resource management, contradictory philosophy, and bourgeois revolt. I've bee thinking about it a lot this year because of, you know, whatever reason.
Updated Tarotspiel today. Fresh new coat of layout and buffed out the editing. Which is to say I completely rewrote it
every three months, somewhere in the world, an indie game maker accidentally recreates quaker silent worship while trying to come up with a new 1-page TTRPG.

Cat Manning@catacalypto.bsky.social · 2w agoyes! as someone who’s been working in procedural text before LLMs were a thing, I really wish people had a sense of the varieties of procgen writing that *aren’t* genAI output. there’s a ton of stuff we can do (including pre-LLM, ML style AI) that’s nothing like chatbot output directly in a game.
