Had a guy tell me that he wrote a script for Google AI to run a ttrpg for his group cause he didn't want to learn the rules and it can do everything instead. Dude, the time you spent coding that BS could have been spent learning the damn game. I responded "I would never have thought to do that."

One of the big things I despise about the "Age Verification" push, is that it isn't so much age as it is Identity verification. This all seems tied to the fact that we will not accept their narrative anymore and they can find no other way to restrict the information from circulation. (1/7)
Ragnarok Online is one of the games that has a very special place in my heart. This article about it gets it very right. This game was a communal experience because you had to take time to rest in it. You meet people in passing with no pressure of "we are only meeting to do a thing". I miss it.

To my non tech normies, PSA: when you share a link, everything after the ? is tracking. Those “query parameters” tell companies exactly how you arrived, what app you clicked, which ad or email sent you, sometimes a unique identifier tied to you. You can delete everything after the question mark.
