Finally got round to a second attempt on the laser engraving on the cover of Eldritch Inquiries by @jmreynolds.bsky.social ...i've also managed to get rid of the burning smell from the first attempt
Is it bad form to use a vegetable peeler to slice butter that's straight out of the fridge?
Some mild set backs in binding Eldritch Enquiries....the laser machine works again....and cut through one of the cables, which made everything a bit fizzy. Sorted that and set the cover on fire.....twice

Had an great end to the weekend helping a friend of mine build a stand for a suit of armour
A new personal best. I actually managed to get this ensign pole pretty close to perfectly round (this is all done with a hand plane, no lathe at all)
A dozen (ish) mast hoops for a mast a colleague is currently working on
Today I took some sticks for a walk by the lake....they jumped in before I could stop them
Nothing like a relaxing weekend of making things to unwind from a week of making things
I have two pieces of wood....i'm going to glue them together and make a shelf....i am rock & roll
