Ive never been prouder to be a Southerner than today. Dolly was our collective auntie....I always imagined you could show up at her house and she'd cook you Cornbread and greens and pork chops and gravy and wouldn't mind if you drank some shine but she'd prefer you sip some sweet tea.
If you from the South no matter your ethnicity you know Dolly Parton. A genuine genius musician, philanthropist and down home auntie to so many . Her music , her care and her generous spirit lifted so many of us out of sadness and despair. Despite writing I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU and JOLENE on -
