@soundout12.bsky.social this came in the mail on Friday! I can safely say that visually & audio-wise this is a significant upgrade from the 2011 DVD release. The colors really pop & the clarity is so fresh it’s like seeing the film in a whole new light
@marcfbr.bsky.social you were right, this looks & sounds incredible in 4K! A significant upgrade from my DVD copy that 2entertain had to license from Universal Interestingly the Whoniverse logo is still on this disc in spite of that effectively being dead by this point
@terebifunhouse.bsky.social oh Dave, remember that 30-year old Doctor Who TV movie that was narratively all over the place? They’ve remastered it to 4K (which means that disc is region free, hence why I imported it!) & I must say it is a remarkable visual & audio upgrade from my DVD copy
