The NTP has confirmed two weak tornadoes in eastern Ontario on June 30. The tornadoes formed under a mesovortex along the leading edge of a bow-echo thunderstorm that moved southeast from the Verona area (EF1 tornado) to Kingston (EF0 tornado). Full details: uwo.ca/ntp/blog/202... #ONstorm

The NTP is confirming a tornado that occurred in the Whyte Ridge area of Winnipeg, MB last evening. A damage survey found a very narrow path of damage, with a preliminary EF1 rating assigned. Damage included roof damage to houses and multiple trees uprooted / snapped. More details to come. #MBstorm
