The NTP has confirmed two EF2 tornadoes near the AB-SK border on July 8. One of the tornadoes hit Dillberry Lake Provincial Park, causing significant tree damage, damage to structures, and trailers and boats to be tossed. There were also five injuries at the campground. 1/2 #ABstorm #SKstorm

The 1st tornado occurred southwest of Paradise Valley, AB. So far no reports of damage. Unfortunately, the 2nd tornado southeast of Chauvin, AB appears to have gone through a provincial park. A flipped trailer, tree damage and minor injuries are reported there. It continued southeast into SK. 2/2

Well today worked out to be better than anticipated. Caught the only storm that was rotating and it was a nice slow easy chase from Brantford down towards Norwich. The mess from London way moving east (my storm was moving SW) crashed into the low topped supercell and it died. #ONstorm #ONWX

Today turned out to be a little more exciting than I expected. One storm in particular near Guelph took on super cellular characteristics and had a wall cloud with a tail pointing towards the precipitation and very broad rotation. Video to come tomorrow. #ONstorm #ONwx
