One thing about this weather is that mains water just isn't cold by any metric. Even on the hottest days, the water usually feels cold still (y'know, relatively), but this summer it just has kept creeping up. Our mains cold temp is 23.5 at the moment.
DID YOU KNOW that the 'Jae' in 'Jaecoo' has the same origin as the 'Jä' in 'Jägermeister'? Now you do. The other half of Jaecoo comes from the word 'cool', which it is not.
Looking at the rain blob and it just... goes away, and then what is left just bypasses us! So rude.

my grandparents were born in 1921, 1927, 1930, 1930... timeline does not work! THAT SAID I have no idea what one set of grandparents did, on the other side we had Lieutenant in the Fleet Air Arm, or a Hairdresser.

SAME. Several dotted down the garden, one in a spot where there was some poo (so we know they go by there). Camera set up, fingers crossed we don't just get thirsty rats.

It's Wednesday night, which means people are doing the food recycling! HOT BINS IN YOUR AREA.
It's been one billion years and a lot of umming and aaaahing, but I finally have garden chairs that recline and don't look like they belong in a retirement home or on a camping trip. And it's 32.5 outside, so it's too hot to fkn use 'em.
This reminds me, someone asked the other day/week/month (I'm old, leave me alone) what the oldest thing you have that you still use is, and I think it might be this (excuse the dust, it's under my desk) Yes, it's transparent blue plastic.
