We're aware some of you have still been running into Bluesky issues on Openvibe. The timing right after launching Pro isn't ideal - we know. We're sorry, and really appreciate the trust from those who subscribed despite the bumps. Working on a fix and aiming to get it out this week.
Openvibe Pro is here 💜 First things first: the app you use today isn't changing. The unified timeline, cross-posting, your feeds - all staying free, that's a promise.
One thing we've always been clear about: Openvibe will never have ads, will never sell your data, and will never manipulate your feed with algorithms. That's who we are. We build this app for you. A month ago we asked what you wanted - we've been working through that list and updating.
3 important updates coming to Openvibe soon: 1. Bookmarks. You've been asking for this one. Save posts from any network and find them all in one place. 2. DMs for Bluesky and private mentions for Mastodon. You'll be able to message people directly without leaving the app.
3 things you might not know Openvibe can do: 1. Multiple profiles - each with different accounts. Work, personal, whatever. Switch in a tap. 2. Custom timelines. Mix networks, keep separate, add a Bluesky list. 3. Saved timeline position. Leave, come back, you're right where you left off.
The team behind Openvibe. 6 people building from Czechia. We do offsites far from any city to brainstorm and get work done. No fancy office. Just a cottage, laptops, and too much coffee. We cook all our meals. Always too much. Recovery walks after lunch are mandatory.
New update rolled out - we've completely reworked how you log in and sign up on Openvibe. Until now, there was no way to register new accounts through the app, you could only log into existing ones.
Hi! We’re seeing some issues with custom Bluesky PDS instances (anything other than bsky.social) in the latest Openvibe update. We’re already working on a quick fix and will release it ASAP! 🐙

RSS is out, at least the first version of it. So, what should we add next? Again, my mind comes back to this question: what would you like to see in @openvibe.social ? Are you a reader looking for content, or a creator looking for ways to expand the content you’re building?
Openvibe the utility knife app of social media apps for AT & ActivityPub protocol just added RSS support. Now they Support BlueSky, Mastodon, Threads, Nostr, and RSS Only thing I don’t like is when BSky labels something sexual they label it Porn & we know BSky labels simple nudity as sexual a lot.

@openvibe.social I don't know what you did, but the last update was EPIC. Custom emojis for Mastodon? Check. Great video support? Check. Somehow reduced the timeline load time on my potato phone from 3 minutes to 5 seconds? Check! Best Fediverse client, hands down. (Well, if only it was FOSS... 😁)
Bluesky and Mastodon? 1 app or 2? I switched to @openvibe.social a while back. It can’t support every feature of both platforms but the benefits of having both feeds and crossposting in 1 app outweigh that. Fantastic app that’s only going to get better, give it a try
