Shopping locally can be difficult when some stores don't adhere to their own posted store hours, and/or have untrained or ambivalent staff. I want to shop locally but some drive me to on-line shopping because it's easier!

Is there a culture statement out there that I am too old to understand? When did it become OK to not respond to messages, even messages where conversations were initiated by the person to whom you are responding? This happens far too many times. Is politeness dead and out of fashion?
I just had a flashback to my 9yr old self. We just reserved some tickets to a Cineplex movie for $28. My 9 yr.old self used to pay 25 cents for a double feature, a newsreel and a cartoon. Not only that, we could stay in the theatre and watch it all twice if we wanted to. I miss that 🥴
I think Trump should be sent out into the forests of the US to rake the forest floors and stop US wildfires. Then we would have less US smoke in Canada!
