You won’t tolerate us fighting back. Eff off US. Canada - if they keep tarifs screw them. Yes we will hurt. But we can’t let this bully keep kicking us and trying to dictate all the terms. And don’t move an inch on our dairy!

Alberta separatism has many faces, to be sure. But our research identifies it as a far-right populist movement at its core. Like other FRP groups, they are driven by making society smaller and more exclusive. Rhetoric to that end receives spontaneous applause at their rallies.+

Thing is: the Alberta Prosperity Project is not some rogue actor. They are the largest organization within the separatist movement. And the comment at last night's town hall was by no means the first example of how they platform exclusionary views. Racism is a feature, not a bug.+

This Markham Hislop article (July 2026) is bang on, and I think she moved even closer to the definition of fascist when she recently moved to control police and simultaneously encourage hate speech (and thus violence). Con voices who don’t call out all her bs are culpable too.

Danielle Smith Is Not Not a Fascist

Smith doesn't fit the classic historical definition of a fascist but her political ideology, authoritarian libertarianism, is a close cousin

We pay for this useless UCP propaganda that completely hides the real nightmare. "One Card" says nothing about the massive privacy risks, long wait times at registries, or administrative chaos for families and seniors trying to renew. #abpoli #Nally creating red tape

An official Alberta government advertisement for the 'One Card' initiative overlaid with bold red commentary. The ad reads 'ONE CARD. THAT'S IT.' and advertises combining driver's licences, health numbers, and citizenship markers into a single card. Red handwritten annotations highlight the phrase 'flimsy paper health cards' with an arrow pointing to the text: 'THAT IS ALL THEY GOT TO SELL THIS' and 'Nally creating red tape'. Top overlay text reads: 'No mention that adding 'CAN' markers and health data creates privacy risks, red tape, and extra costs for families.'

I know this is unpopular but I’m sick of professional sports. It’s just another business for the ultra wealthy. FIFA is an example. Maybe I’m just sick of the ultra wealthy. No one needs to be a billionaire. No one.

In many ways Donald Trump is being normalized and celebrated within mainstream America, from the top of the corporate ladder to the bottom. Canadians should not delude themselves, Trump is not a lone wolf, he is the leader of a corrupted and twisted nation. Don’t buy GM. #CanadaStrong

GM CEO Mary Barra is introducing Trump at his rally. Something to keep in mind if you're in the market for a vehicle anytime soon.

My 6 year old grandson was telling me he hated hot dogs just like me! I told him it’s the only food I don’t like then listed some weird foods I like. He told me he ate a random ant and it was tasty. 😬🤣
