🚨BREAKING 🦠 On Friday, the US CDC arbitrarily shifted higher COVlD levels into lower categories depicted with cooler colors. Much of what was Very High is now "High." What was High is now "Moderate" or "Low." Low is "Very Low." 1/

The last one is just for me. It's my leonin druid Khadhi with her lover, Adrik, sharing a tender moment reading together in his study. The pictures behind them are of Adrik's late wife and their daughter, and Bernard, an NPC who had his own major campaign moment. I just *love* these two together. 🥰

Khadhi is leaning against him and he has his arm around her affectionately. He's smiling contentedly while she is transfixed on her book. She loves erotic novels and I think she would have been super into Astarion fiction, so I used the cover for T. Kingfisher's new Astarion backstory novel for the book cover, the blurb for the back, and grabbed a page of Astarion smut from AO3 for the inside. None of it is legible, but I think it's a fun detail. There are book cases and a table behind them. A candle is burning casting a warm glow on the couple and decor in the room. The table has two portraits on it, as well as a vase of flowers, and a large shell on a stand.

This one is of Kermet and Harry's son, Scoot, who wants to study to be a lawyer, and Kickstand, the little stoat boy our party rescued from a pack of cultists who were using him as a housekeeper. This is for @lupusdei.bsky.social of his incredibly fun kobold warlock, Kane (strapped to the rocket) and his parents, with whom he was reunited over the course of the campaign. He was separated from them as a small child and the arc to get them back was one of my favourite parts of the campaign. 💖

This one is of Magnus, @gibbo-za.bsky.social's dragonborn cleric and former pirate nomad. He's on the deck of the ship of his lover, Professor Switch Wilder, an adventurous were-bear who does not gaf about showing boob on their own ship. They like to steal artefacts from museums to repatriate them.
