I got blood taken today and for the first time ever did not nearly faint! 👏👏👏 I played up the ordeal though, of course, and treated myself to a day of games, horror films and snacks. 😌

Malignant doesn't really do anything revolutionary with its structure but it has some of the coolest, most fun to watch scenes I've ever witnessed. This film slaps!
A bit saddened the Zelda Direct only talked about the OoC Remake. Would've liked a new port of Twilight Princess or something, at least. 🫤
Watching Kinki and Salmokji this week has gotten me in a real ghost hunting mood. I also started reading A Natural History of Ghosts by Roger Clarke this weekend and now I'm half tempted to buy a bunch of parapsychology equipment. Who knows, it could be 2nd channel content... 😅
Everyone rating this film must have watched something else because no WAY should it be rated so low! I'm actually shocked.
Koji Shiraishi's 'Kinki' shares a lot of similarities with Noroi and hits the same level of mysterious folk/cosmic horror. It's gripping throughout and I'd say has a better payoff than Noroi.
Funny how continuity mistakes can be totally excused in horror films. Something in the background moved between shots? Ehh a ghost probably did it! 🤷
