Big fan of this new update for #GhostOfYotei forcing you to go to the main menu when you boot up the game. Sucker Punch did such cool visuals showing your progress through the games story and I’m glad this’ll highlight it more. Also the new visuals for each mode are lovely.

Hope everyone is enjoying playing the game where a supernaturally warped city is taken over and the protagonist has to use weapons of unknown origins to defend the world and the colour red is used heavily throughout. (I’m making jokes because I have to wait to play #ControlResonant 😭)

DmC Devil May Cry’s box art, featuring Dante. It’s all red.

Wolverine is pretty dope so far. Combat feels crunchy and is pretty fun to engage with (I kicked a dude into a lazer wall and he exploded into mist!) Really like the personality they’re giving to Wolverine and Omega Red so far, it’s a fun feud.

Finished the Blood of Dawnwalker, with Lacra’s ending. It was a really fantastic melding of all these different folktales & myth. The combat was a bit janky but there’s such incredible writing and RPG fun to be had. (Spoilers beware in next post)

Sometime around 2017, before Insomniac's first Spider-Man game came out, Sony instructed the team to add more walking sequences I spoke with some of the leads about it and they mentioned tweaking everything from climbable obstacle placement to walking speed during these sequences to hit metrics

this bit from skill up's review of wolverine knocked me on my ass, it feels like something that wouldve come out of one of those focus m parody videos but its in a real triple A game

Looping back around to this A; because the game is out soon And B: because I’ve been doing a lot of Jock studies lately but damn he’s so efficient with his line work and I love the balance he can strike with a realistic approach to likeness and then the splattering of halftones/textures on top
