It is the 10th anniversary of my woodland marriage to @mikeharrisonwood.bsky.social and I can wholeheartedly recommend both a woodland beer festival wedding and being married to Mike who just suggested frickles and corn ribs as a "light snack".
Today in boring adult things i bemoan the lack of coat/hat stands that would also hold a couple of pairs of wellies for by the back door.
Mike came home and suggested a walk in the woods and i was all nooooo i am indoors and then we went anyway and it was DELIGHTFUL
I was like wow was I 6 when I bought this? Then I remembered I am not 26 the record is. Still, one of my favourite albums. All bangers no skips as close to perfect as I think albums get.

Cooler but with cat night a success. Cat chanced breakfast at around 3 but was convinced to go back to sleep until a solid 6/6.30 when the he realised he's never actually eaten a meal.
Tonight I'm going for windows open, accept that the cat will wake me up at 4am. I desire to be cooler.
Lie awake because it's too hot or lie awake because the cat has come in through the window and got stuck in the blinds.
So many potential angers but the eclipse was cool! Must pop out into the village with my colander more often.

Everything gets darker and more ominous despite the day. Then shadows get weird. Then everything's just fine and back to normal. Very confusing. What have we done to anger the gods THIS time?
Couldn't find the cat at bedtime which meant cat was able to sleep with me (adorable cute lovely) which meant that at 4.15 he started yelling (less cute) and kept that up for an hour (less adorable) until i got up to give him breakfast (lovely for him)
Will I have banished something bought from ikea or dunelm and made from veneer? Reeeeally very likely.
Will I have been to the antique shop and bought a large piece of furniture that looks like it could have come from a church? Also maybe (more likely than the bedroom one tbh)
Will I have swapped our bedroom to the front by the time he's home? Maybe.
Uh oh the "mike's away I must rearrange the furniture" bug is biting me
