I've been reading papers on deviant burials in medieval Poland, and it's so fascinating that while not all of those burials could be anti-vampire burials or done for fear of the undead, all of them happened after the widespread introduction of Christianity in the 10th century.
This episode was genuinely everything to me. I have some of the monolog near the end in my notes app just to read over because I need even some of that energy and spirit. Absolutely brilliant episode, absolutely brilliant writing!
