I am all over the place with use of AI. I loved spell and grammar check and I find the reviews it can do are really good. I appreciate being able to flip a document from first person to third person for legal stuff. You still have to go over it with a fine tooth comb.

Mine ignores cat toys. She loves empty cardboard boxes
Someone once told me that it's "classist" to advocate for people to have indoor cats because you need to buy them lots of expensive toys. Marcel has been playing with the discarded stem of a fresh green bean for 20 minutes. 🤷♀️
Now that I have fallen in love with a parrot, i need this in bird
We only rate dogs. This is a baby kangaroo, as you can tell by the kickstart button on her foot. Please only send dogs. Thank you... 12/10 (TT: supernoodlegirls)

She cycles around, sets up her bench and a small table with coffee and cake somewhere, and chats with complete strangers. The goal is to strengthen the neighborhood and combat loneliness, particularly among seniors.

“It’s too late to save life on Earth. I think we all know that in our hearts. Think about it too much and you will weep for the children and their lost futures, and for the decades of political paralysis…” - Stewart Lee (in the Nerve) I know from experience that he can do jokes, but this isn’t one.

Continuing travails of trying to get a second-hand birdcage. Decided to meet up with someone selling something advertised as a cage on a stand. Doublecheck that it’s on a stand because the photo was a bit off. It’s actually Gerry rigged onto a bar stool.
This is the spot next to my bed where the dog bed lay for 15 years. One of my dogs died at 18 three summers ago, and the other died two weeks ago at 15. Everything about this feels so strange. Life has changed profoundly.
Monday of the August long weekend in Ontario. There isn’t even an official theme for this weekend. Once upon a time, this was Glengarry Highland Games weekend for me. Now it’s just found time weekend. Sleep in, hang out w visiting friend, play w new parrot. Maybe some weeding.
Elderly cat relaxing of a Sunday morning and ignoring the new parrot
Just drove 30 minutes to buy a used birdcage but the seller was not there when they said they would be. I really try to stick to these community resales. But grrrrr
It’s world breastfeeding day. One of those lifesaving and life affirming connections that we sometimes fail to appreciate. Clean water, healthy mothers with maternity leave and the knowledge of how important this is. What a start to life.

Just adopted a bird from the Ottawa Humane Society. So far, so good.
Research shows that humans who adopt their cats from shelters and rescues, rather than buy them from breeders, are 10 times smarter and better looking. The researcher:
This bird is everywhere I am. I have a new shadow
My new friend had a lot to say. Lovebird might just be the balm for the brokenhearted
