Biscuit’s pups are almost ready to go to their new homes. This fiery little girl is going to our friend Trinity who has a kennel full of Otter Run pups. Trinity has already named her Otter. She said she wanted to name her after the kennel where she got so many great dogs from🥰

We’ve made our picks, keeping two of Blanca’s pups. First one left yesterday, she gets to join a team full of ORK pups. Then “Gypsy” left this morning. Her mini-mushers sure are happy to bring her home where she will meet their star leader, “Birdie”. Some of you might even remember Birdie

Some midday May mushing with 2 Ham sons Slate and Ragdoll. Rag is our most athletic 🐩 but Flash thinks he is too weird to breed. He is one of the handful staying intact here because he can really scoot. Stay weird buddy,1 of these yrs while momma is away we will let our fastest shaved poodle play

We have some sweet insulated dog houses coming this week for some of the poodles that like to keep a tighter shave, we also bit the bullet and ordered a ton of kibble to try and stay a little ahead of the rising Epstein tax. We don’t offer a lot and we know times are scary and tough for so many, but

Swiper is a little scared today, help him be brave by giving him some Bluesky encouragement. We have a number of other surgeries this summer, fixed dogs do make better sleddogs and obviously help with eliminating unplanned pregnancies which is a huge detriment to the dogs and mushers.
With our limited gene pool we have been searching for an outcross for Ham, his OnlyHam’s content has been slow. We tried a few prospects but they lacked speed or flair or some other trait the ORK sled poodle line requires. We did find Biscuit, she is on the right here. Is the🌎ready for more Hamlets?
Our baby sled poodles have a lot to say to those who call them “Alaskan Huskies”. Who came up with that term anyway? Would dogs that originated in other states be called Minnesotan, Wisconsinite, Michigander, Wyomingite..? Is Wisconsinite Sled Poodles proper terminology, or should we drop the ite?
That moment when you’re in a far off place in your OnlyHam’s shirt and some stranger says to you “now that’s funny” and they have no idea what’s it about….priceless
